At HeySmile Dental Clinic in Asok, metal braces cost 1,500–2,000 THB a month, Damon self-ligating braces 3,000 THB a month, and Invisalign clear aligners from 49,000 THB for the full course. The first braces visit is 999 THB including the X-ray, photos and records, bonding the appliance is 3,000 THB per session, and retainers after braces at HeySmile are included. Braces need an adjustment visit about every 4–8 weeks, so they suit people living in Bangkok; a visitor on a short trip can have a consultation, an Invisalign scan or, with a few days in Bangkok, a new retainer (2,500 THB per piece). Prices are in Thai baht and the same for Thai and international patients. The orthodontist confirms the plan and the price after the check-up and X-ray.
What expats and visitors ask us first.
Metal braces are 1,500 or 2,000 THB a month depending on the bracket system, and Damon self-ligating braces 3,000 THB a month, paid at each adjustment visit. Add the first visit (999 THB, with X-ray, photos and records) and appliance bonding (3,000 THB per session); retainers after braces are included. Invisalign is from 49,000 THB for the whole course.
Most braces cases take about 18–24 months, complex cases longer, with an adjustment about every 4–8 weeks. Invisalign ranges from a few months for small corrections to one to two years for a full course, longer for complex cases, with a check-up every 6–10 weeks.
An Invisalign consultation with X-ray, photos, a scan and a plan, or a new or replacement retainer if you have a few days here. Full braces need regular visits here, so they suit residents. If you start Invisalign, tell us how often you can come back.
Braces can treat almost every type of case and cost less per month; Invisalign is removable and almost invisible but must be worn 20–22 hours a day and costs more up front. The orthodontist tells you which one can achieve the result you want.
From the HeySmile 2026 price list. Braces are paid per month at each adjustment visit; Invisalign is a single price for the full course.

Prices are in Thai baht; convert them with your bank's rate on the day. Braces prices are the monthly fee paid at each visit, plus the first visit (999 THB) and appliance bonding (3,000 THB per session); retainers after braces at HeySmile are included. Prices differ from clinic to clinic in Bangkok: these are the published HeySmile prices, and they are the same for Thai and international patients. See the braces section of the price list.
39,999 THB
Paid month by month at each adjustment visit.
An estimate from the published price list, not a quote. For Invisalign the X-ray and scan at the first visit are extra. The orthodontist confirms the treatment, how long it will take and the price after the check-up.
The orthodontist recommends one after the check-up and X-ray, and explains why in English.
Brackets bonded to the teeth and a wire that the orthodontist tightens at each visit. They can treat almost every type of case, including bites and severe crowding, and cost the least per month. You come in about every 4–8 weeks, so they suit people living in Bangkok. 1,500–2,000 THB a month.
Brackets with a small clip instead of elastic ties. The wire slides with less friction and there are no elastic ties to trap food. 3,000 THB a month.
A series of removable, almost invisible aligners made from a digital scan, changed every one to two weeks at home. They must be worn 20–22 hours a day and are taken out to eat and brush. Check-ups are about every 6–10 weeks, so some patients who travel can manage it with planning. From 49,000 THB for the full course.
Crowding, gaps, teeth that stick out, and a deep or open bite are the usual reasons. Straighter teeth are also easier to clean. Ask the orthodontist first: the first braces visit is 999 THB including the X-ray, photos and records, and nothing else is charged until you decide to start.
The orthodontist examines your teeth and bite, takes a panoramic X-ray, photos and records, and explains in English which treatments can achieve the result you want, how long each would take and what it costs. For braces this first visit is 999 THB. For Invisalign a digital scan of your teeth is taken. Nothing starts until you agree.
Braces: the brackets are bonded and the first wire fitted in one visit (3,000 THB per bonding session). Invisalign: the aligners are made from your scan and delivered to the clinic, usually within a few weeks; at the fitting visit small tooth-coloured attachments are usually bonded and you are shown how to wear and change the aligners.
Braces: an adjustment visit about every 4–8 weeks, where the monthly fee is paid. Invisalign: a check-up about every 6–10 weeks to collect the next aligners and confirm the teeth are tracking. If you travel a lot, tell the orthodontist so visits can be planned around your trips.
When the teeth are straight the braces come off, or the last aligner is finished, and retainers are made to hold the result. Teeth drift back without them, so retainers are worn full-time at first in many cases, then every night, long term. After braces at HeySmile a set of two is included; bought separately a set is 4,500 THB.
Living outside Bangkok? Full braces are not a good fit for a short visit, because the wire needs regular adjustment here. What works on a trip: the consultation and X-ray, an Invisalign scan and plan, or a new retainer. Tell us your dates before you fly and the orthodontist will say on WhatsApp what is realistic.
Also for people who had braces elsewhere and need a retainer while they are here.
A metal wire across the front of the teeth on an acrylic plate. It can be adjusted, lasts for years, and is easy to clean. 2,500 THB per piece, 4,500 THB for upper and lower.
A thin transparent plastic retainer moulded to your teeth, almost invisible. It wears out faster than a wire retainer and needs replacing when it cracks or loosens. 2,500 THB per piece, 4,500 THB for a set of two.
Replace it quickly: teeth can start to move within weeks without one, and the longer you wait the more they move. Bring your old retainer if you still have it. Message us on WhatsApp with a photo and your dates and we will tell you when it can be ready.
How to wear it: often full-time for the first few months, then every night, for as long as you want your teeth to stay straight; the orthodontist tells you which applies to you. Clean it with a soft brush and cool water or mild soap, not toothpaste, which scratches clear plastic, and never hot water; keep it in its case, not in a napkin, which is how most retainers get thrown away.
Teeth are tender for a few days after braces go on and after each adjustment; soft food and the pain relief your orthodontist recommends help. Brackets can rub the cheeks at first: use the orthodontic wax you are given. New aligners feel tight for a day or two.
With braces avoid hard, sticky and crunchy food that breaks brackets, and brush after every meal, using the small brushes you are given around each bracket. With Invisalign take the aligners out to eat and drink anything except water, brush before putting them back, and clean the aligners with cool water and a soft brush.
A broken bracket, a wire poking the cheek that wax does not cover, a lost aligner, or pain that does not settle in a few days: message us on WhatsApp and we will fit you in. A poking wire can be covered with orthodontic wax, or a small piece of sugarless chewing gum, until you get here.

“I usually go to the dentist in the United States, and this was my first time seeing a dentist abroad. I'm glad I came because I knew I could get the same level of care I'm used to at home. I really recommend it.”

At HeySmile Dental Clinic metal braces cost 1,500 THB a month with Tomy brackets or 2,000 THB a month with Ormco brackets, and Damon self-ligating braces 3,000 THB a month, paid at each adjustment visit. The first visit with X-ray, photos and records is 999 THB and bonding the appliance is 3,000 THB per session, so a typical 24-month case with Tomy brackets costs about 39,999 THB in total, with the retainers afterwards included.
Invisalign at HeySmile starts at 49,000 THB for the full course. The packages are Essential 49,000, Go 69,000, Lite 79,000, Moderate 129,000, Comprehensive 3 years 149,000 and Comprehensive 5 years 159,000 THB, depending on how much the teeth need to move. The orthodontist confirms which package fits after the scan.
Braces need an adjustment visit about every 4 to 8 weeks, so they suit people living in Bangkok rather than visitors. Invisalign needs a check-up about every 6 to 10 weeks and the aligners take a few weeks to arrive after the scan, so it can work if you return regularly. On a short trip you can have the consultation and X-ray, an Invisalign scan and plan, or a new retainer.
Most braces cases take about 18 to 24 months; complex cases take longer. Invisalign ranges from about 3 to 5 months for small corrections to 1 to 2 years for a full course; complex cases can take longer. The orthodontist gives you an estimate at the consultation and updates it as treatment goes on.
Fitting braces is not usually painful, but the teeth are tender for a few days afterwards and for a day or two after each adjustment, and brackets can rub the cheeks at first. Soft food, orthodontic wax and ordinary pain relief usually manage it. New Invisalign aligners feel tight for a day or two.
Braces can treat almost every type of case, including bites and severe crowding, and cost less per month. Invisalign is almost invisible and removable, which makes eating and cleaning easier, but it must be worn 20 to 22 hours a day, costs more up front and is not suitable for every case. The orthodontist tells you which one can achieve the result you want.
A wire (Hawley) retainer or a clear retainer is 2,500 THB per piece at HeySmile, and a set of two, upper and lower, is 4,500 THB. Send a photo on WhatsApp with your dates if you have lost or broken a retainer and we will tell you when a new one can be ready.
Often full-time for the first few months, then every night, for as long as you want your teeth to stay straight; the orthodontist tells you which applies to you. Teeth move throughout life and drift back towards their old position without a retainer, fastest in the first year after braces. Replace a lost or cracked retainer quickly rather than waiting.
No. Teeth can be moved at any age as long as the teeth and gums are healthy. Adults often choose Invisalign or Damon braces because they are less visible, and treatment for an adult can take a little longer than for a teenager.
Usually yes. Bring your treatment plan, X-rays and any records from your previous orthodontist, and HeySmile's orthodontist examines you and explains whether treatment can continue here, with what and at what monthly fee.
